P. Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Claims He Broke Up Fights Between Him and Cassie, Says Rapper Is Like A ‘Little Kid When He Knows He Does Something Wrong’
P. Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard Claims He Broke Up Fights Between Him and Cassie, Says Rapper Is Like A ‘Little Kid When He Knows He Does Something Wrong’
Another person is making claims against Diddy.
The media mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has been facing a growing number of legal and professional issues in recent months due to various claims levelled against him. His ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit to start this in earnest, claiming that Combs had abused her and engaged in sex trafficking, among other things. Since then, footage from 2016 that purportedly showed Diddy attacking Cassie has emerged, evoking emotions from many who were once close to the rapper. Then, a former bodyguard is saying that he broke up several conflicts between the two and that Combs acts like a “little kid” when he realizes he has failed.
According to reports, Roger Bonds worked for the Grammy winner more than ten years ago. Bonds has been talking about his experiences in the midst of the numerous charges levelled against his former boss. Most recently, he had a lengthy interview on YouTube with Vlad TV, where he made a number of accusations against Puff Daddy. Bonds was questioned about several incidents in which Diddy and Cassie exchanged blows during the conversation. The former bodyguard clarified that, contrary to what Cassie’s lawsuit claims, he did not see the alleged violent altercation between the two that allegedly occurred following a party with Jay-Z years ago. Bonds did, however, swear to witnessing them clash in a Cadillac, whereupon Cassie is said to have punched the mogul:
I broke up her and Puff’s argument once more. I then positioned Cassie in the backseat and Puff in the front seat. I thought to myself, “You, y’all can’t be acting up like this, man,” as he was just sitting there. And with that, Cassie had correctly given him a punch to the face. After she gave him a punch to the face, they got into a fight. I had the window open as well. And then people began to arrive, exclaiming, “Oh she*t, that’s Diddy and Cassie fighting in there.” In addition, I’m attempting to roll up the window simultaneously. I was therefore content in my mind because I [watched] her fight back. I took them both out when we arrived at the house. At this point, I managed to get hold of Puff and begin leading him up the hill. I started to walk him up the hill as we lived in Beverly Hills. Cassie kicked him after running behind me. I managed to stop him as he started chasing after her by grabbing him once more.
Cassie Ventura and Sean Combs first connected romantically in 2007 and ended their relationship in 2018. Less than 24 hours after the singer filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend in November 2023, the case was resolved, despite Combs’ denials of her allegations. The two can be seen at a hotel in the previously mentioned 2016 footage, which came to light in May. The “Satisfy You” singer is shown in the video reportedly chasing after Ventura, throwing her to the ground by the neck, and kicking her while she was on the ground. Later, it appears from the feed that Combs is dragging Ventura by her sweatshirt and hurling something at her.
Following the release of the video, P. Diddy issued an apology, but Cassie’s attorney and others took issue with his comments. Roger Bonds continued by stating that he was unable to offer “assistance” in light of the alleged hostility between the two musicians. He partially blames that on Cassie’s alleged drug use, as during her addiction, she allegedly told the founder of Sean John everything. When Bonds was questioned later in the interview on another alleged incident in which the “Come to Me” performer punched the Empire alum in the face, he replied as follows:
When [Diddy] struck her in the face, Cassie acted almost like a small child and seemed ashamed that it had happened. And as I watched him, I noticed that Puff acts like a tiny child when he realizes he has done something wrong. When you see the expression on his face, you know not to question him about it. I never did ask him about it, why it was done, or what was happening. There were occasions when she might irritate a guy if she spoke to him for too long. And the next thing you knew, they were engaged in combat. But because I would always break it up, he began to become aware of what he was doing around me.

Slim Thug and other individuals associated with Diddy have expressed their disapproval of Diddy’s behaviour following the release of the hotel footage. Following the viral success of the video, Cassie Fine’s husband, Alex Fine, also released a message against domestic abuse. Amidst the commotion, 50 Cent has also voiced his opinions and is even filming a shocking docuseries about Puff’s situation that will stream on Netflix at a later date.
Apart from the case filed by the singer of “Me & U,” numerous other people, including Joi Dickerson-Neal, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a Jane Doe, and others, are also suing Sean Combs for alleged crimes such as sexual assault and sex trafficking. Additionally, his residences were searched in March as a component of a federal probe. Combs has not yet addressed Roger Bonds’ allegations or the comments made by a few of his other former workers as of this writing.
‘More About Himself’: After Diddy Apologized For 2016 Assault Video with Ex-Girlfriend Cassie, Her Lawyer Shared a Sternly Worded Statement
The apology was not accepted by his ex’s legal team.
Following what seems to be hotel surveillance footage from 2016, Sean “Diddy” Combs apologized in public on Sunday morning. Cassie Ventura, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against him in November alleging that she had been raped and assaulted when they were together. According to Ventura’s attorney, who released a strongly worded statement of her own, P. Diddy’s remarks are more about himself and that apology means nothing.

P. Diddy, who has adopted multiple aliases throughout the years, addressed a 2016 video taken at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles that seemed to show him kicking and pulling his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, as well as throwing something at her. Diddy stated in an Instagram video:
Though it can be somewhat challenging, there are instances when it is necessary to think back on your worst moments. I was screwed up. I mean, I was at my lowest. But I have no justifications. My actions in that video are unacceptable. I accept all accountability for the things I did in that video. I’m abhorred. Both when I did it and today, I was appalled. I went and looked for expert assistance. I’ve been attending therapy and rehab. needed to beg God for his forgiveness and grace. I truly apologize. However, I’m determined to improve every single day as a guy. I’m not pleading for pardon. I apologize sincerely.
Diddy has been the subject of numerous lawsuits alleging assault and sex trafficking, which led to the raids of his houses in Miami and Los Angeles in March. This was the first time in months that Diddy has responded to any of the accusations.
Attorney for Cassie Ventura Responds to Diddy’s Apology
The music producer’s apology was rejected by Meredith Firetog, one of Cassie Ventura’s attorneys, on behalf of her client. She mentioned the timing of Diddy’s apology and how it came after the release of the video in her own statement (as reported by TMZ). According to Firetog:

In contrast to the numerous people he has harmed, Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself. In response to Cassie and several other women coming out, he denied all of it and implied that his victims were only want money. It demonstrates his pitiful desperation that he was only forced to “apologize” after his repeated denials were shown to be untrue, and his bogus statements will not convince anyone.
In December of last year, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs made reference to two lawsuits: one filed by Cassie Ventura and rapidly resolved in November 2023; he also claimed that “sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.” He vowed to keep fighting for the truth and his reputation, denying ever having committed any of the acts for which he had been charged.
Although the rapper has been the target of numerous lawsuits and accusations, Sean Combs has not yet been prosecuted for any offense. He hasn’t said much in recent weeks; the only thing he posted on social media was a mysterious remark mentioning staying “steady in the storm.”
After the public publication of the hotel tape, Cassie Ventura’s husband came out strongly against abusers, declaring, “Men who hit women aren’t men.” Another former Diddy aide came forward and said that she “felt sick” after watching the tape, but that she wasn’t surprised in “not one cell in my body.”
‘I’ll Take This L’: Slim Thug and Others Connected to Diddy Speak Out After Hotel Video Surfaces
A number of notable names have weighed in.
The latest twist in the story of Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’s ongoing legal and business problems dates back several months, and it most recently featured the disclosure of CCTV footage from 2016. During their stay at a hotel, Combs appeared to be violently abusing Cassie, his girlfriend at the time, according to the said footage. After the mogul eventually expressed regret for his conduct, Cassie’s attorney responded with a strongly worded statement. Following Combs’ response and the video’s viral success, some of his associates—including Slim Thug and Kelly Price—are now speaking out about the circumstances.
Before the “Coming Home” rapper could respond to the video after it was released, Slim Thug commented on the security footage on Instagram and added a screenshot of a news article. The artist, whose real name is Stave Jerome Thomas, first criticized the hip-hop scene for failing to stand by P. Diddy in the face of home invasions and other problems, according to Vibe. Nevertheless, after witnessing the hotel footage, in which the mogul threw his ex to the ground by her neck and kicked her, the “3 Kings” rapper criticized Diddy’s behaviour and declared that he would “take this L”:
Oh no, Diddy ♂️ I attempted to travel with the [Black] man who was not yet charged, but I am unable to support this I’m going to accept this loss. However, I’ll continue to ride with my people until I get some kind of evidence. I don’t think civil lawsuits or blogs are legal. I apologize to Cassie and anybody else who was correct this time.
