Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial

Renowned documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger (Paradise Lost) creates a grand six-part series that traces the horrific history of Germany’s Third Reich under the tyrannical and fanatical leadership of Adolf Hitler using audio from the Nuremberg trials from the 1940s and archival footage. Evil on Trial describes the economic and sociopolitical themes of the era and draws comparisons to the contemporary emergence of authoritarian and racist governments. Narration is taken from the late journalist William L. Shirer (author of the seminal The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich) and recreations.

Jonathan Scott
PERSONALITY • PRODUCER • REAL ESTATE INVESTOR • MAGICIAN • ENTREPRENEUR
Birth Name: Jonathan Silver Scott
Birth Date: April 28, 1978
Age: 46 years old
Birth Place: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Along with his identical twin Drew, Canadian reality TV star Jonathan Scott co-hosts “Property Brothers” (HGTV, 2011-). Scott was born and raised in Vancouver, and at the age of seven, he developed an interest in a career in entertainment. He began doing stand-up comedy around Canada and gained popularity for his sharp wit and charisma around large groups of people.
But by his teens, Scott’s passions had shifted to a different kind of theatrical production: magic. What started off as just a little intrigue soon developed into a full-blown obsession. Jonathan Scott was also one of Canada’s top magicians by the time he was in his 20s.
Ever the inquisitive kind, Scott had a wide range of other interests, including real estate. He and Drew jointly purchased a property in Canada when he was still in his late teens. Jonathan and Drew sold the house for a healthy $50,000 profit after a year of renovations.
The Scott brothers quickly obtained their real estate licenses after realizing they were somewhat skilled in the field and started Scott Real Estate Inc. in the middle of the 2000s. The Scott brothers had rapid success as a team, and by the late 2000s, their business included locations in Vancouver, Calgary, and Las Vegas.
Producers at the HGTV network quickly became aware of the brothers’ achievements. The network debuted “Property Brothers” in 2011 after being impressed by the twin brothers’ good looks and comfort in front of the camera. In the show, the brothers purchase homes in Canada and the United States, make repairs, and then resell them for a profit.
Since the beginning, the show has been a huge hit, and in 2015, “Property Brothers” aired its fourth season, with Jonathan and Drew continuing in their original roles.

Kylie Minogue
SINGER • SONGWRITER • ACTRESS
Birth Date: May 28, 1968
Age: 56 years old
Birth Place: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Born in Melbourne, Australia on May 28, 1968, Kylie Minogue began her career as an actor in teenage soap operas, making appearances in the Seven/Ten/Eleven series (1985–). She started her singing career in 1987, still in her adolescent years, with a copy of Little Eva’s 1960s classic song “The Loco-Motion,” which reached the top of the Australian charts. The following year, it was reprinted globally and became an international hit.
Minogue remained a significant pop artist in the U.K. during the late ’80s and early ’90s, even though she would not have another success in the U.S. until 2001. Her extravagant stage displays, sex-symbol image, and dance-pop tunes helped her achieve an almost Madonna-like stature. As mainstream as pop stars were, Minogue had an allure that cut across genres, and she worked with everyone from The Pet Shop Boys (1999’s “In Denial”) to Nick Cave (1995’s “Where the Wild Roses Grow”). Despite a little decline in popularity by the end of the 1990s, Minogue returned to the top of the UK charts in 2000 with her song “Spinning Around.”
That same year, Minogue’s electro-tinged hit “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” with an earworm tune fitting its title, did the same for her globally, cementing her place as a top-tier pop diva. After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in 2005, Minogue had surgery and chemotherapy, but she healed and triumphantly resumed her singing and recording career. It was said that Minogue’s openness with the media on her diagnosis and course of treatment encouraged more young women than ever to undergo routine breast cancer screenings.
By joining the British cast of “The Voice” (BBC/ITV 2012–2013), Minogue broadened the scope of her fame even more.
