Theresa Nist Had a Big Night Out After Finalizing Her Divorce with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner: ‘Cheers’
Theresa Nist Had a Big Night Out After Finalizing Her Divorce with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner: ‘Cheers’
Being the first couple to fall in love and tie the knot on The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist may not have had the most conventional introduction. However, Theresa celebrated their divorce in a rather conventional way by going out with her friends. Not just any girls, either, as the resident of New Jersey journeyed to Minnesota to share a drink with Leslie Fhima, a woman who had experience ending a relationship with Gerry.
Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist were the last two women on the first season of The Bachelor’s senior-focused spinoff, so Theresa really couldn’t have picked a more fitting companion to spend a big night out with as the papers officially dissolved her marriage to Gerry Turner. Theresa posted the ladies’ selfie on her Instagram Stories:
Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist remained friends after meeting on The Golden Bachelor, despite the fact that both ladies fell in love with Gerry Turner. Leslie even made an effort to show Theresa some love when the couple announced their upcoming divorce on Good Morning America. Along with providing assistance, Leslie helped the financial services professional deal with the fallout from the separation, including some awkward pictures taken by photographers.

On Thursday, June 13, a judge approved a settlement dissolving Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s marriage, two months after the pair made their separation public. Three months had passed after their wedding, which was broadcast on ABC, when they made the news together on a GMA appearance.
The pair was the subject of numerous speculations about why they broke up so quickly, most of which focused on the distance between their home states. Gerry Turner lived in Indiana close to his kids and granddaughters, but Theresa Nist continued to live in New Jersey close to her family.
There were allegations stating that Gerry had been “caught in lie” and that he had no intention of leaving Indiana, and former Bachelor Ben Higgins claimed to have heard that the couple’s disintegration was due to an argument over cornfields.
Susan Noles of The Golden Bachelor, who ended up performing Gerry and Theresa’s wedding, stood by the 72-year-old retiree, claiming he “got the wrong end of it” because Theresa was the one who had decided not to resign from her position and move.

I’m glad Theresa Nist was able to travel to Minnesota to commemorate her divorce from Leslie Fhima, even though distance does appear to have contributed in some way to the golden divorce.
The first season of The Golden Bachelorette will premiere in the fall, so keep an eye on the 2024 TV schedule for the date. In the meantime, 26-year-old Jenn Tran will make history on The Bachelorette when her search for love kicks off on Monday, July 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and is available to stream the following day on Hulu, one of the best streaming services.
From Gerry Turner’s Ex-Girlfriends to A Live Proposal, 6 Things That Made the Golden Bachelor Wedding Absolutely Unhinged
This wedding was must-see TV.
The Golden Bachelor made a comeback to watch Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist be married, just over a month after Bachelor Nation witnessed his proposal. In the best kind of craziness, a few members of Gerry’s season spoke with past Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants during the two-hour live event on ABC. These six insane elements of The Golden Wedding ranged from the groom’s live proposal to the interviews with his ex-girlfriends.
The former girlfriends of Gerry Turner came back to witness his marriage.
It’s hard for me to fathom Gerry Turner’s reaction when he saw a dozen of his ex-girlfriends standing down the aisle at his wedding to Theresa Nist, but that’s exactly what happened on January 4. The Golden Bachelor competitors cracked many jokes about going to the wedding after having their hearts shattered by Gerry, and two of them, Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts (the Caitlyn and Kris Jenner lookalikes from Bachelor Nation), were major players in the ceremony. Later, more on that…
On live television, Brayden Bowers proposed to Christina Mandrell.
In addition to having several ex-girlfriends there, The Golden Bachelor completely disregarded wedding customs by highlighting the engagement of another couple. Just before the ceremony, Brayden Bowers, who gave Christina Mandrell a rocky start in their relationship during the Bachelor in Paradise finale, proposed to her. He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. By the way, her answer was yes.
While many people on social media called Brayden Bowers out for the wedding faux pas, Jesse Palmer ensured viewers that the earring king had gotten Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s blessing beforehand.

In other exciting Bachelor Nation couple news, Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko announced that they will be getting married in Fall 2025.
Amid the drama, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristow were also present.
This week, rumours surrounding former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristow and Tayshia Adams have been flying high when a video from New Year’s Eve appeared to show Kaitlyn ringing in 2024 alongside Tayshia’s ex-fiancé Zac Clark. Many watched the wedding special in the hopes of catching any pyrotechnics between the former co-hosts of The Bachelorette:
Both women were seen in the background during Thursday night’s program (Tayshia Adams stopped to snap a selfie with Natascha Hardie from The Golden Bachelor in the image above), but it didn’t seem like they interacted with one another, at least not in a way that was displayed on television.
‘I’m Doing Just Fine.’ Former Bachelor Had to Come Out and Say He Wasn’t Broke After Seeming Homeless, Revealing Credit Score
Fans were concerned.
Following their engagement on The Bachelor Season 28, Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson appear to be having the time of their lives, as evidenced by their social media pages, which chronicle their travels and new influencer lifestyle. But when the tennis star disclosed that he was living with his fiancée and her housemates because his credit score had collapsed after appearing on the reality dating show, he raised some eyebrows among Bachelor Nation. But there’s no need to worry! Graziadei has sent a statement assuring supporters that he is “doing just fine.”
Joey Graziadei, who originally became a part of the franchise as a contestant on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette, gained notoriety in June on the Trading Secrets podcast after he disclosed that he and Kelsey Anderson were living in New Orleans with her housemates, akin to a scene from New Girl. During the filming, he claimed to have forgotten to pay a credit card, which caused his credit score to plummet by 80 points, to 650. But after supporters worried that he didn’t have a place to reside, Graziadei explained his circumstances on Instagram Stories, posting:
Allow me to correct the information. I’m doing great, I’m not broke. However, in order to be able to spend as much time as possible with Kelsey while she finishes her lease, I have chosen to temporarily live with her and her housemates.
The couple’s living situation doesn’t seem to be a reason for alarm, and I have to assume that having a roommate is preferable to a long-distance relationship. Joey Graziadei had moved from Hawaii and was staying in Philadelphia with his sister before heading to New Orleans.
We haven’t yet seen The Golden Bachelor spinoff replicate the advantages of
the tennis instructor being able to uproot and relocate to Louisiana. Three months after getting married on live television, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced their divorce, allegedly due to their unwillingness to leave their established homes and family. Star of The Golden Bachelorette’s first season Joan Vassos has already discussed leading two lives with anybody she pleases.

I find myself wondering how much time Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson really spend at home, considering all the exciting chances they’ve had since appearing on the dating show! They also told podcast host Jason Tartick that they talked about what they intended to get out of the popularity they had found on The Bachelor, thus I believe that their living situation was certainly a topic of discussion during their lengthy Fantasy Suite conversation.
The New Girl arrangement was never meant to last, since the couple intends to move to New York by the end of the year. since for the rest of Bachelor Nation, we’re prepared to focus on Jenn Tran when The Bachelorette Season 21 premieres on ABC on Monday, July 8, at 8 p.m. ET in 2024. The following day, if you have a Hulu account, you can watch the episodes online.
The Golden Bachelor Runner-Up and More Spurned Contestants Reached Out to Theresa Nist After Divorce News
Leslie Fhima breaks her silence.
Everyone has been sharing their opinions ever since Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, the first pair on The Golden Bachelor, declared they were divorcing. As people speculated that there had to be more to the story, host Jesse Palmer expressed his admiration to the couple. The runner-up, Leslie Fhima, who experienced her own difficult split with Turner on the show, was one person we hadn’t heard from. Fhima broke her quiet to talk to her pal as Nist revealed her upcoming divorce in her first solo statement.
Theresa Nist took to Instagram a few days after declaring their divorce during an appearance on Good Morning America with Gerry Turner. She thanked everyone who had shown support for her during this trying period. Leslie Fhima, who experienced her heart broken by Turner after a seductive fantasy suite date, was one of the people who replied in the comments section. She penned:
My friend, you are loved. I’m delighted to refer to you as such; you’re stunning on the inside as well ❤️
Leslie Fhima, who finished in second place, showed unwavering support for Theresa Nist, despite the fact that the two ladies may have fallen in love with the same man.
