A teaser trailer showcasing Ellis decked out in jail attire along with a slew of other mishaps and blunders revealed the release date. Unknown how it’s all connected, there are also hints of a failed robbery and intriguing experimentation.

Unstable is a film that was co-created by Lowe, his son John Owen Lowe, and Victor Fresco. It centers on the eccentric businessman Ellis and his reunion with his estranged son Jackson (John Owen Lowe), who returns home to assist in helping his father recover from a mental collapse. A last-minute technical advancement at the end of Season 1 saw Ellis just miss getting kicked off the board of his own business. Who will be a part of Season 2 of Unstable?

Sian Clifford, who plays Ellis’s CFO and closest confidante Anna, Rachel Marsh, who plays the reserved scientist Luna, Emma Ferreira, who plays the gregarious scientist Ruby, and Aaron Branch, who plays Jackson’s childhood best friend and project manager Malcolm at the Dragon Company, are among the returning cast members in addition to both Lowes.

A few fresh names will also be seen in Season 2, such as Lamorne Morris (Fargo) and Iris Apatow (The Bubble), who will return as recurrent guests.
