On Friday, Netflix revealed that Mike Epps’ latest comedy special, Ready to Sell Out, would launch internationally on the site on February 20, 2024. After Don’t Take It Personal (2019), Only One Mike (2019), and Indiana Mike (2022), this is Epps’ fourth special on the platform (2015).
In it, despite having a successful profession, he wonders where all of his money has disappeared, discusses the ups and downs in his relationships, and makes a tonne of street observations. Together with Epps, Mark Ritchie, Thomas Cobb, Niles Kirchner, and Kyra Epps, Royale Watkins directed and executive produced his new hour. The producing firm is called Southpaw Productions Inc.
Epps, who began his stand-up career in 1995, is also the creator of the Under Rated… Never Faded & X-Rated and Inappropriate Behaviour specials. He has been in a number of television productions, including Uncle Buck, Survivor’s Remorse, and I’m a Virgo. He is now the lead of the sitcom The Upshaw’s on Netflix. In addition, he appeared in several episodes of the Resident Evil and Hangover series, as well as movies like You People, Dolomite Is My Name, Troop Zero, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and Girls Trip, to mention a few.
