Crashing Eid Release date, cast, plot everything

A unique comedy-drama series called Crashing Eid debuted on Netflix on October 19, 2023. Following the release of their first Saudi original comedy series, “Tahir’s House,” Netflix’s comedy-drama marks their second excursion into a Saudi-based series.

A family drama-comedy tackling traditional love taboos with a cheerful yet irreverent atmosphere is Crashing Eid, directed by Lucky You Are Mine director Nora Aboushousha from Saudi Arabia.

Aboushousha, a Jeddah local, has recently gained popularity in Saudi Arabia thanks to the success of her one-location lockdown crime series Rahin Altaqiq and the drama-comedy Confessions, which is about a disobedient young Saudi woman. She is also no stranger to pushing boundaries; her short film Lucky You Are Mine, which received funding from the Saudi Film Commission for its creation, received great accolades when it made its world debut at the 2022 Red Sea International Film Festival.

Plot
