What happens in the movie Burning Betrayal?
Babi can’t get rid of the crazy dream she had the previous night, which included a risky and thrilling motorbike ride into a dim, wet tunnel and a passionate tryst with a very gorgeous man who was definitely not her fiancé, even while she is getting measured for her wedding gown.
Her ride-or-die best friend and coworker Paty (Camilla de Lucas), who she hangs out with at the fitting and swipes left and right on hookup apps, speculates that perhaps it’s a message not to settle down too soon. After all, Paty, the sexually daring and open-minded person, has far more experience than Babi. She and Caio (Micael) have been in a monogamous relationship for five years. Or so Babi believed.
That is, until the male stripper leaves the bachelorette party and Babi receives a package from an unidentified sender that contains pictures of Caio’s transgressions. All those mysterious business excursions to Rio make sense suddenly. Babi, who is devastated, embarrassed, and absolutely furious, conducts some unconventional research and learns that Caio has had a mistress for two years.
Babi is able to gather herself with the aid of Paty and her closest friend Thiago (Bruno Montaleone), who also happens to be her lovely, bespectacled coworker. However, Babi is still adamant about getting vengeance and wants to find out more information about her ex. She and Thiago had just left a court appearance where Caio was questioned over an alleged money-laundering operation, and Caio’s company is one of her firm’s largest clients. It appeared innocent enough when Caio dismissed it as a normal appearance, except for the “hot judge” Marco (Leandro Lima) presiding over the proceedings.
And there is definitely nothing innocent about the attraction between Babi and Marco when she runs into him again at his workplace and again when Babi joins his motorcycle club. They spend a night together that equals the one in her dream while cruising along picturesque coastal roads.
But is Marco more reliable than Caio? Numerous indicators point to danger: Marco’s evasiveness, an odd and hostile stalker, and the secrets Babi learns about behind closed doors. Babi is taken aside by the motorcycle club president, who advises her to avoid Marco since he is “strange.” Marco tells her, “I’ll tell you my tale one day.” How late will it be?

What Was the Situation With Caio And Babi?
After a considerable amount of time spent together, Caio and Babi made the decision to tie the knot. Babi was wildly organising all kinds of arrangements since she was so eager about her wedding. Working together, Caio, Babi, and their mutual buddy Thiago had a thriving import business lately. Even though there were occasional setbacks, Caio always managed to find a solution and ensured the business remained successful. Caio informed Babi that one of their clients, Marigold Constructions, was implicated in a money laundering investigation after being called to the prosecutor’s office. and the situation wasn’t that terrible; he was only being asked to testify. Babi trusted him because she loved him and had no reason not to. She had chosen to live her entire life with him, and she had the highest regard for his moral character. However, Caio was having extramarital affairs with other women, and it was rather obvious that he was doing so while posing as a business traveller.
Babi was living in her own tinseltown, totally unaware of this reality. The castle of fantasies Babi had built in her imagination was demolished by the reality that swept in like a storm. Someone emailed her images from her bachelorette party of Caio having sex with other females. She locked herself in the bathroom because she lacked the strength to face the outside world and felt as though her life had been wrecked. Babi’s closest friend Patty phoned Thiago because she felt he was the only one who could comfort her. Babi had a horrible few days and was unable to shake the sensation that she was trapped.
She felt like everything in her life had changed, and all she wanted to do was go to Caio and ask him why he had broken her heart. The good news is that Babi had support from Thiago and Patty at all times, who helped her realise that it was okay and that she should start over. Babi was prepared to move on after realising the man was just not worth it, even though she knew things would not be simple from this point on.
Did Marco Cheat on Babi?
Babi met Judge Marco Ladeia by coincidence since she had unintentionally left her folder in the courtroom during the hearing when Caio was required to testify. She received a call from Marco’s assistant asking her to pick it up at the judge’s office. Judge Marco and Babi shared an odd bond, and even if their relationship didn’t progress, they were certain to run into each other again soon. As anticipated, during a road trip with the motorcycle club she had joined following her split, Babi did, in fact, run meet Marco in Burning Betrayal.
Although Caio certainly didn’t like motorcycles, Babi had always liked them. She sold her bike since she knew she wouldn’t be able to ride it when she got married. But now that she was out of that bad relationship, she bought a bike and joined the club right away.
Babi enjoyed their time at the resort with Marco, although she did observe that he occasionally acted extremely oddly. She didn’t know what he was doing, but he had a talent for leaving her stuck. After the road trip, Babi assumed she would never hear from Marco again, but he phoned her again, apologised for abandoning her without warning, and promised to make it up to her. They began getting together daily, and Babi cherished his presence. She pondered about it for a while, wondering if she might be with him in the future, but then something unexpected happened, and Babi’s confidence was betrayed once more. When Babi learned that Marco was married, she was perplexed as to why she continued falling for such immoral and dishonest guys.
Babi came to learn that her judgement was premature since Marco was not a dishonest man when he subsequently came to her and told her the truth. It was a known truth that Marco was Paula’s husband, but their marriage was not working well, and he was close to filing for divorce. Paula had been dealing with mental health problems for a while, and they grew worse once she became pregnant. Their daughter had several health problems at birth and needed to be monitored at a hospital.
When Paula attempted to grab her daughter and flee the hospital, Marco recognised he would need to get a restraining order against her since he had no idea what she may do next. Paula had all of Marco’s support, but she didn’t seem to be getting any better. Marco had informed Paula that he was ready to move on, but it was clear that she was unable to face the truth. Babi saw that Marco wasn’t a horrible man after hearing his tale, so she made the decision to give him another opportunity.
