WWE ‘Raw’ Beginning on Netflix 2025 WWE Netflix

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), a professional wrestling organisation and a division of TKO Group Holdings, Inc., has signed a long-term agreement with Netflix, an American OTT video provider.

With this partnership, the largest entertainment network in the world will carry WWE’s flagship weekly show, Raw. Additionally, as Raw is departing from linear television for the first time since its founding 31 years ago, this marks a huge programming shift.

The ten-year rights contract is expected to come at a cost of over $5 billion. Starting in January 2025, Netflix will be the exclusive new home of Raw in the US, UK, Canada, and Latin America. We’ll eventually include more nations and areas.

Along with the WWE’s Premium Live Events, which include WrestleMania, Summer Slam, and Royal Rumble, Netflix will also host all WWE programming that is made available outside of the United States, including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Netflix will also provide WWE documentaries, original series, and new projects to audiences globally starting in 2025.

Netflix Will Get Weekly Live Sports Entertainment Through a Long-Term Deal

For the first time since its founding 31 years ago, Raw is departing from linear television, which signifies a significant programming change.

With other nations and regions to be added over time, Netflix will serve as Raw’s exclusive new home in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Latin America starting in January 2025. Netflix will also serve as the home for all WWE programming, including Raw and the company’s other weekly shows SmackDown and NXT, as well as the company’s Premium Live Events, such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, outside of the United States until further notice. Beginning in 2025, Netflix will provide WWE’s acclaimed documentaries, original shows, and upcoming projects to viewers worldwide.
