Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Enter the New Era of Mobile AI

A new age of mobile AI was introduced by Samsung Electronics with the
launch of the Galaxy S24 series on January 17 during this year’s Galaxy
Unpacked. The series, which was the company’s first AI phone, captured the
attention of consumers and media worldwide. Visitors at the SAP Centre in San
Jose attended Galaxy Unpacked, and Samsung Newsroom was there to record
the initial responses of those interacting with the newest Galaxy lineup. For
further images, highlights, and news from Galaxy Unpacked 2024, continue

Let Your Creativity Run Wild and Explore the World in Novel Ways

From setting up a shot to sharing it on social media, the ProVisual Engine11 on
the Galaxy S24 Series is an extensive range of AI-powered capabilities that alter
image capturing abilities and increase creative flexibility at every turn. The
blurry, distorted photos from long ago are long gone. Thanks to its Adaptive
Pixel Sensor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Quad Tele System, which includes a new
5x optical zoom lens, enables optical-quality performance at zoom levels
ranging from 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10×12 magnification. This is made possible by the
50MP sensor. Images with improved digital zoom also display incredibly clear
results at 100x.

Even at full magnification, images and videos captured with the Galaxy S24
Series’ Space Zoom in low light are stunning because to its enhanced
Nephrography capabilities. The larger 1.4 um pixel size on the Galaxy S24
Ultra 60 percent bigger13 than the previous model allows you to capture more
light in low light. With larger optical image stabiliser (OIS) angles and
improved hand-shake compensation, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has less blur. Both
the front and rear cameras in the Galaxy S24 Series have Dedicated ISP Blocks
for noise reduction during filming, and they also use gyro information analysis
to discern between the movement of the subject and the Filmer. This enables
clearer videos in the dark, even from a distance, and more effective noise
reduction.

Users may perform basic changes such as erasing, re-composing, and
remastering photographs using the cutting-edge Galaxy AI editing features,
even after capturing amazing shots. Edit Suggestion14 makes appropriate
change suggestions for every photo using Galaxy AI for faster and more
effective optimizations. Generative Edit15 can employ generative AI to fill in
specific background areas of an image, giving users even more artistic freedom
and control. Artificial intelligence fills in the edges of a skewed picture. AI
allows users to modify the subject’s position and creates a blended background
in the original location when an object or person needs to be moved slightly to
be in the ideal position.

The Galaxy S24 Series will always add a watermark to the image and its
information when it uses generative AI to magnify an image. Additionally, the
new Instant Slow-more feature can create extra frames based on movements to

easily slow down action-packed moments for a closer look if a fast-paced movie
needs to be slowed down.

Super HDR shows lifelike samples before the shutter is ever clicked to
guarantee your shot dazzles. Sharing memories with the world is equally as
important as preserving them, even though collecting memories is an
indispensable phone feature. Third-party social apps now take full advantage of
the AI-powered camera system on the Galaxy. To elevate social sharing,
premium Galaxy S24 Series photography functions are now seamlessly
integrated within mobile apps like Instagram in HDR16.
Photos are also shown in Super HDR for a more lifelike range of brightness,
colour, and contrast by evaluating prominent portions of the images when it’s
time to search an image in the Gallery or on your favourite social media app.

Enhances User Trust and Choice with Advanced Security and Privacy

The defence-grade, multi-layer security platform Samsung Knox, which is
integrated into the Galaxy S24, preserves sensitive data and wards off threats
with real-time threat detection, end-to-end secure hardware, and collaborative
protection. In the age of artificial intelligence, Samsung is still dedicated to
giving customers choice and control over their devices. With the Advanced
Intelligence settings on the Galaxy S24, customers can completely manage how
much of their data is used to improve AI experiences. They can even choose to
stop processing data online for AI features.

Passkeys also further the Knox Matrix22 vision of a password-less, connected,
and secure future. By providing digital credentials for easy and safe access to a
user’s registered websites and applications on all of their trusted devices,
passkeys aid in thwarting phishing assaults. When users backup, sync, or restore
their data using Samsung Cloud, Enhanced Data Protection provides end-to-end
encryption. This feature enables Galaxy S24 users to connect to other devices
while maintaining sync and security. This guarantees that, even in the event that
a server is attacked or account credentials are taken, the data can only be
encrypted or decrypted on the user’s devices, ensuring that only the user may
view it. Additionally, a recovery code can help stop data loss in the event that
access to a trusted device is lost.

Samsung’s Next Environmental Journey Stage

Rethinking how Galaxy technology is bundled and designed to accomplish
more for people and the environment while using less resources is also
necessary to create a new class of mobile experiences.
The Galaxy S24 keeps expanding the range of recycled materials seen in Galaxy
smartphones by incorporating recycled glass, aluminium, and plastic into both
internal and external components. It also goes a step further than their efforts.
Galaxy S24 is the first spacecraft to use rare earth and recycled cobalt
components. The battery of the Galaxy S24 Ultra contains at least 50% recycled
cobalt, while the speakers are made entirely of recycled rare earth components.
The Galaxy S24 is the first model in the Galaxy S series to be designed with
thermoplastic polyurethane and recyclable steel (TPU). The Galaxy S24 Ultra
has speakers made of at least 40% recycled steel, and the volume and side keys
are made of at least 10% pre-consumer recycled TPU.
Every Galaxy S24 also includes a shipping box composed entirely of recycled
paper. Samsung is committed to prolonging the lifecycle of its products, and
their latest flagship is no different. It offers seven generations of OS upgrades
and seven years of security updates, ensuring that users can consistently enjoy
their Galaxy devices’ optimal performance for an extended period of time.

Finally, The Carbon Trust has analysed and confirmed the carbon footprint of
the Galaxy S24, and it has received UL ECOLOGO® certification.
The Galaxy S24 is an example of how Samsung MX’s environmental strategy is
being progressed against. Samsung is unwavering in its commitment to meeting

the targets it has set for itself by the end of 2025. Samsung completed the first
of these objectives by the end of 2022 by utilising recycled materials in all
mobile devices, including wearables, PCs, and Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
The company is aiming to use more recycled materials nowadays. Samsung
plans to integrate recyclable materials into every module of its mobile products
by the year 2030.

Technology with accuracy and refinement in every aspect

The titanium frame of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a first for the brand, since it
increases the longevity and durability of the gadget. Because of its noticeably
slimmer body, the Galaxy S24 Ultra offers a more comfortable grip and an
improved on-the-go experience. A more aesthetically pleasing criteria is
satisfied by the streamlined One-mass design of the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy
S24, which features a seamless transition between the device’s side frame and
rear cover. The colour tones of the Galaxy S24 series are inspired by minerals
found on Earth. Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium
Yellow are among the colours available on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The hues
Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow are available on
the Galaxy S24+ and S24. Additional colours will be available exclusively
online for all three versions.
