This morning, Issa Rae (Barbie, American Fiction, Insecure) and Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales, The Big Sick) revealed the nominees for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, which honour exceptional individual, cast, and ensemble performances for the previous year, via Instagram Live. SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher introduced the candidates for best action performances by film and television stunt groups, who were revealed by SAG Awards Committee Members Jason George and Woody Schultz.

As previously announced, during the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards event, Barbra Streisand, the famous actor, singer, producer, writer, and director, will be presented with the SAG Life Achievement Award for her career achievements and humanitarian endeavours.
The SAG Awards, one of the biggest occasions of the awards season, honour the best performances in movies and television shows from the previous year (SAG Awards Eligibility Period: January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023). Only the SAG Awards, which have 119,515 eligible voters, are chosen exclusively by the peers of actors in SAG-AFTRA, the leading industry award show for actors. The final voting period begins on Wednesday, January 17 and ends on Friday, February 23 at noon PT.
