It’s a fascinating issue that can be explored in many enjoyable ways.”

Trailer

The Thai romantic comedy Ready, Set, Love has released a teaser that looks like a lot of fun. Yanyong Kuruangkura, director of App War, Mother Gamer, and Back to the 90s, combines humour and romance with a game show aspect in an imaginative parallel universe for this series.

In the universe of Ready, Set, Love, males are regarded as “national treasures” and women greatly outnumber men. In this other reality, women fight for men’s devotion on the game show “Ready, Set, Love,” which is sponsored by the government. Day (Kemisara “Belle” Paladesh), a regular lady, is given the unexpected opportunity to compete in this event. Despite her hesitation, she goes ahead and encounters Son (Pongtiwat “Blue” Tangwancharoen), one of the five bachelors, which results in a surprising but genuine love.

For the purpose of giving the series its distinct style, director Yanyong used creative art direction to envision what commonplace occurrences might look like if there were actually such a circumstance. How might automobiles be like? What kinds of attitudes might people have? We carefully considered each of them and visually represented it in a unique and appealing way to create a bright and colourful romantic comedy with a deeper message behind each scene.

In addition to its light-hearted romance and comedy, the six-episode series delves into themes like feminism and independence while also concealing a hint of mystery and conspiracy. Watching Ready, Set, Love can help you realise that having freedom gives us the ability to achieve anything we choose. We may be any gender and we can love anyone,” he continues.

Although these components give the storey more depth, Yanyong stresses that the main objective is to amuse. He declared, “I want the viewers to enjoy the series.” “We want to create something that is really entertaining to see.

In the world where the trailer starts, there is a kind of epidemic. Unlike other epidemics, which often result in the deaths of many people, this one target and reduces the number of men. Not only has the population of testosterone-fueled individuals on the world drastically decreased, but the number of men born has also significantly decreased.

The result is a world in which women far outnumber males. But this tragedy gives rise to a government-sponsored game show called “Ready, Set, Love,” in which women vie for the few eligible men’s adoration. Men are treated by the state and seen as “national treasures” in this world. In the end, any lady hoping to win any of the males would have to take part in the performance.
